What’s new with Super Natural Structures?
It’s been a busy past month or so for Super Natural Structures, here’s what’s been going on.
We got a logo!
Huge thanks to Lindsey Naylor for our new logo. This has been in the making for a while and I’m really happy with how it came out. Check out all the awesome stuff she does on her website linked above, and hit her up if you need a logo, mural, or other creative design work.
Another new development is that we’ve started framing what will be our hempcrete sauna.
This thing measures 8x10, I’m expecting it to comfortably seat 6-8 people, and is a prototype for a prefabricated product that we plan to start taking preorders for as soon as this one is complete so stay tuned for that! Also, lmk if you are seriously interested in purchasing one and what you think a reasonable price would be.
Currently, the majority of my time has been spent doing some conventional construction work to get the bills payed and raise money to reinvest in transitioning this company to be solely focused on hemp building materials.
We are finishing up a couple of projects in the next week or so, after which, the plan is to order some hempcrete, rent a mixer, and cast this sauna, in addition to some pizza ovens and bee houses. I’m planning to do a free workshop/demonstration one of the days that I have the mixer, so if you are near the Marquette area and want to come check it out, just let me know and I’ll keep you in the loop.
I’m really looking forward to this next phase of Super Natural Structures, and can’t wait to start working with hemp materials on a daily basis.
